Our group, the Biomedical Imaging and AI Research Cluster, will be hosting satellite events at UBC to coincide with the Thirty-third Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (NeurIPS) between December 9th to 13th.
We are organizing satellite events at UBC for those who were unable to secure tickets to the conference. We’ve been accepted as an official NeurIPS ‘Meetup’ event and plan to be an inclusive space where the research community and public can engage with NeurIPS scientific content.
Each day of the conference we will be broadcasting conference keynotes, workshops and tutorials in room 201, Hennings Building (6224 Agricultural Road). You can find our streaming schedule of NeurIPS content here.
Our main event will take place on December 11th between 1pm to 7pm in the AMS Student Nest (RM2039). We will be hosting Prof. Julia Schnabel from King’s College London, Nenad Tomašev from DeepMind and Thad Hughs from Google Health. They will be presenting their research, followed by a wine and cheese reception from 4pm to 7pm.
We hope you can attend one of BMIAI’s final events of 2019. For more information, registration and a detailed schedule, please visit our website here.
Kind Regards,
BMIAI Steering Committee
